Where the top 100 high school football players in the Class of 2026 are from?

Florida, Georgia tie for the most players featured with 14 each.

The big four states of California, Florida, Georgia and Texas lead the way when it comes to the 247Sports composite rankings for the top 100 high school football players in the Class of 2026. 

Fifty-one players come from that quartet of states, led by Florida and Georgia with 14 apiece.

Dia Bell of American Heritage (Plantation)Derrek Cooper of Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) and Calvin Russell Jr. of Northwestern (Miami) headline the players from the Sunshine State.

Tyler Atkinson of Grayson (Loganville)Kaiden Prothro of BowdonXavier Griffin of Gainesville and Bryce Perry-Wright of Buford lead the way for the players from the Peach State.

Stars in the Making

Texas had the third-most players with 12. Notable names include John Turntine III of North Crowley (Fort Worth)Keisean Henderson of Legacy School of Sport Sciences (Spring)Ethan Feaster of DeSoto and Davian Groce of Lone Star (Frisco).

California was the only other state with at least 10 players featured with 11. Chris Henry Jr.Mark Bowman and Kodi Greene all come from last year’s MaxPreps National Champs — Mater Dei (Santa Ana).

Douglas County (Douglasville, Ga.) was the only other school to have three players included as Aaron GregoryJordan Carter and Devin Carter all check in as top 100 recruits in the Class of 2026.
