Welcome to the Orbit League Rules page. This page outlines all the essential guidelines for playing Orbit Ball . It is important for players, coaches, and fans to familiarize themselves with these rules to ensure a smooth and fair competition.

General Game rules

Three or more players use one ball. Every player for himself. The first designated ball carrier starts from inside the end zone perimeter all other players must not cross the end zone goal line until initial ball carrier crosses the goal line. The player with the ball must try and score at the opposite end zone. All other players must try to stop and tackle ball carrier from scoring and gaining yards. Once ball carrier is tackled they must throw ball backwards from spot of tackle opposite of scoring direction. All other players must try to retrieve ball and score. Once a player scores they must then exit end zone and attempt to score at opposite end zone. Players obtain points for touchdowns. Players receive point deductions for personal fouls and delay of game penalties

Game Day Rules

The Orbit League follows a structured game day format. Each game will begin with a [Mini concert series], and the standard game duration is [30 min] minutes running clock per half. The game follows standard scoring methods, including touchdowns, tackles,assists. forced fumbles & time of possession. Substitutions may only be made subjectively and therefore require prior approval from the referee.

Player Conduct and Safety

Player safety is a priority for the Orbit League . Any player who sustains an injury must be evaluated by the game day medical staff before returning to play. Personal conduct must be respectful at all times; any acts of violence or aggression will result in an immediate ejection from the game. All players must wear the league-approved equipment, including [helmet cams & tech gear], during games.

Penalties and Disciplinary Actions

Orbit League enforces strict penalties for any violations of the rules. Violations & penalties may result in loss of points, or disqualification from the game or event. Serious offenses or repeated misconduct may lead to ejections from the tournament season. If a player disagrees with a penalty or ejection, they may file an appeal within [48] hours of the incident. Decision will be made by the League's office competition committee.

Tournament Format and Scheduling

The Orbit League is divided into [40] rounds, culminating in the Orbit Bowl. Each match will last [30] minutes, with scheduled breaks in between. In the event of a tie, the game will proceed to [overtime format or another tie-breaker system] to determine the winner.
